SHELF-STABLE FOOD DISTRIBUTION / DISTRIBUCIÓN DE COMIDA “ESTABLE”

In collaboration with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank Organization, the Inglewood Unified School District will provide "Shelf-Stable Food,” such as canned foods, to families. Food will be provided in a box that can weigh 12-18 pounds, so please make sure you have assistance, if necessary. The LA Regional Food Bank will start distribution on Wednesday April 8, 2020.

Currently enrolled Payne STEAM Academy students without access to a device at home – a parent or designated adult listed on the student’s emergency contact list must be present to sign out a Chrome Book.

School Closure thru May 4th

Dear Inglewood Unified School District community,

Following Governor Gavin Newsom’s and Los Angeles County officials’ announcement on Thursday, March 19, of a new public health order for people to stay home to increase social
distancing, the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) announced the recommendation to close all schools in Los Angeles County with students returning on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, to limit the community spread of COVID-19.
